HIGH PERFOMANCE COURSE IN OPERA SINGING: M. LUCIANA D'INTINO

The AGM association, which has always been active in music education, organizes the “Annual specialization courses”. 

INFORMATION

AGM Centro Studi of Pesaro organizes the specialization course in Opera Singing by M. Luciana D’Intino.

PARTICIPANTS

The singing improvement course is open to professional singers and to students of music schools, music high schools and state conservatories after evaluation of the artistic curriculum.

UNDERTAKING

The specialization course will be held at the headquarters in via Largo Terenzio Mamiani n.13 Pesaro.

The program on which the students will work can range from vocal technique to chamber and operatic repertoire.

There will also be the possibility of organizing audition meetings with the agents.

METHOD OF REGISTRATION

To enroll in the singing specialization course, we invite you to send your artistic curriculum, which will be evaluated and the eventual admission will be communicated.

The candidate will then be invited to fill out the online form and pay the participation fee.

PROFESSOR: LUCIANA D'INTINO

Luciana D’Intino, mezzo-soprano, makes her debut in the role of Azucena (Il Trovatore) after winning the “Adriano Belli” international competition in Spoleto. From this moment on, she drew the attention of the international opera scene, confirming herself as one of the best and most appreciated mezzo-soprano voices of our times.

After her memorable success in Aida at Covent Garden she was described by the Sunday Times as “a glorious mezzo-soprano […] her most exciting singer in her role to emerge from Italy in recent years”.

Particularly appreciated in the Italian and French repertoire, Luciana D’Intino is a regular guest of the most prestigious theaters in the world such as: Teatro alla Scala, Metropolitan in New York, Covent Garden, Wiener Staatsoper, Staatsoper unter den Linden in Berlin, Bayerische Staatsoper in Monaco, Opernhaus of Zurich, Teatro Municipal of Santiago del Chile, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, La Fenice of Venice, Teatro Comunale of Bologna, Opera of Rome, San Carlo of Naples, Regio of Parma and Rossini Opera Festival, collaborating with conductors such as Salvatore Accardo, Daniel Baremboim, Semyon Bychkov, Myung-Whun Chung, Colin Davis, Daniele Gatti, James Levine, Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti and George Prêtre.

Among her latest successes are the interpretations of Don Carlo at the Zurich Opernhaus, at the Wiener Staatsoper and at the Opéra National de Paris; Verdi’s Requiem at the Regio di Parma, the Comunale di Bologna, at the Chorégies d’Orange, at the Musikverein in Vienna with Riccardo Muti and at the Philharmonie in Berlin with Daniel Barenboim; Aida at the Metropolitan in New York, at the Teatro alla Scala and at the Wiener Staatsoper; Boris Godunov and Il Trovatore at the Opernhaus in Zurich; The Troubadour at the Liceu of Barcelona; Aida at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich and at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino; Cavalleria rusticana at the Teatro alla Scala and at the Liceu in Barcelona.

In 2011 her long-awaited debut as Aunt Princess in Suor Angelica at the Opéra National de Paris was greeted with enthusiasm by audiences and critics. She opened the 2013/14 season with her return to the Opéra National de Paris stage as Amneris in Aida followed by Adriana Lecouvreur in Bilbao, again in Paris she sang Adriana Lecouvreur, Il Trovatore and La Gioconda at the Opéra National , in Vienna she was applauded as Amneris (Aida), while in Palermo she was Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana and in Rome she sang Verdi’s Requiem; The Troubadour (Azucena) in Paris. Among her most recent commitments we remember: Suor Angelica (princess aunt) in Naples; Carmen and Aida at the Verona Arena and Adriana Lecouvreur in Naples.

He has several recordings to his credit, among which we highlight Lo frate’nnamorato conducted by Riccardo Muti and L’ occasione fa il ladro conducted by Salvatore Accardo (Ricordi), Don Carlo conducted by Riccardo Muti (Emi ), Guillaume Tell (Philips), La gazza ladra under the direction of Gianluigi Gelmetti (Sony) and Aureliano in Palmira (Nuova Era).

Since 2016 she has been responsible for the singing courses of the Accademia della Scala.
